the righteous one is caring for the soul of his domestic animal - Proverbs 12 : 10
And this lady did that with all her heart..
the lord and lady of Rudkin Lodge
Tissue didn't live a long life, just 7 years but in those seven years our dear little feline friend affected a lot of lives. Maybe you are like myself, you love cats because they make you laugh and there is something about their demeanor that touches our hearts. Here are a few words followed by a brief explanation..
Tissue
part one - through the eyes of 'Black and White'*
as the neighborhood cat I was quite lost for words
when my newly found friend wasn't interested in birds
he was an amiable fellow I have to admit
on sharing his food we always agreed to split
he never wandered far always stayed close to home
he never jumped fences or stayed out for a roam
I often pass by and wait by your garden door
but my dear little friend isn't there anymore
part two - through the eyes of his human friends
little footprints in the gravel led to next doors grass
you avoided injury you were in a different class
from a human standpoint you were indeed so clever
now those little footprints are in our hearts forever
you loved your treats so much and always made us laugh
never the lowly one, always the chief of staff
we always smile whenever we think of you
as no cat in the world was ever called Tissue!

Black and White and Tissue were close friends
Synpopsis
Tissue had the need to eat grass, he had his reasons. The grass required was in next doors garden, separated by a gravel track - herein lies a problem, the stones cause Tissue's paws to bleed! Solution - Tissue brushes several stones away in strategically marked intervals so that he can cross the path at any time unharmed... genius!
Tissue was so kind and humane, I can only describe him as more human than feline - point being, he was never interested in catching birds or pouncing on anything that moved. He was actually more concerned with saying 'hello' or 'goodbye' to his friends as they visited Rudkin Lodge. This is unique behavior for a cat.
On comparing this unique cat to humans (i'm not sure if this is a good comparison) he was so obedient! On a memorable vacation at Geneva Towers, he was told not to jump on to the owners bed - and he never did! How did he know?
His intelligence was mind boggling, he always knew where his treats were! I will never forget when he alighted at Geneva Towers, he rubbed his head on my leg, meeowed and made me followed him to some random box, plonked in a random place - how on earth did he know his treats were there!!!???
such obedience - just unbelievable
looking for treats - but how does he know where they are?
So how do we reconcile losing a cat? Do we over love them, do we humanize them? Or are they an aspect of the Creator's personality that will last forever. Does that give this closure.. perhaps...
Justy looked after you the best Tissue.
